Volunteering For Super Troopers

Consider volunteering for our therapeutic equine care and riding programs!

Super Troopers welcomes adult and teenage (14 and up) volunteers from all walks of life. Responsibilities can include greeting students, horse grooming and tack up, side walking, leading,  arena activity set up, and cleaning tack. Orientation and training are provided on-site before each session. If you have no prior experience, this is a great way to learn by working with our PATH certified instructors and trained volunteers. We look forward to hearing from you!

“Volunteering for Super Troopers at New Canaan Mounted Troop has been a life changing experience for me. I have been an NCMT adult rider for many years and the opportunity to be of service, with my equine friends as partners, has been more gratifying that I could ever have imagined.  It inspired me to make a career change and I recently completed my PATH Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning certification.  I am proud to be a part of this growing program and I consider it an honor and a privilege to work with our amazing students.”
